Specific Terms Relating to Registration, Log-in, and Security

If you wish to use the MyPayPoint website you must first register as a user and be eligible to register (please contact PayPoint using the details below for information on eligibility). You must provide accurate and complete registration information will need to set up both a Username and a Password in order in order to register. These are:

  • A "Username" is the email address nominated by you at the time you register to use MyPayPoint.
  • A "Password" is a confidential word or number or combination used as a code to confirm your identity when accessing MyPayPoint. This must be between 8 and 15 characters.

PayPoint will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that access to MyPayPoint is possible at all times, however no warranty or guarantee is provided in this respect and PayPoint shall not be liable in any way if the PayPoint Extranet is unavailable.

PayPoint may at any time, and without notice, withdraw MyPayPoint in part or in its entirety, or restrict or prevent you from accessing the PayPoint Extranet if PayPoint has reasonable grounds for doing so.

PayPoint endeavours to maintain a high level of internet security. To maintain such security you must:

  • ensure that both your username and password are kept secure at all times;
  • choose a password you take care to ensure that it is one that is not likely to be anticipated by anyone attempting to access MyPayPoint pretending to be you;
  • not disclose your username or password to anyone other than a PayPoint employee, and do not otherwise allow anybody to access your MyPayPoint account;
  • not record your password in any form that identifies it as being a password to access MyPayPoint;
  • contact PayPoint on the contact details below immediately upon discovering or suspecting that your password is being used by or is known by any third party other than a PayPoint employee;
  • not allow any other person to access your MyPayPoint account;
  • ensure that nobody can see, copy or access information, or obtain your username and/or password when you are using your MyPayPoint account;
  • not whilst accessing MyPayPoint leave your computer or any similar device used for accessing the PayPoint Extranet unattended;
  • prior to accessing the service from any computer connected to a local area network or LAN, take steps to ensure that no other party will be able to see, copy or access information and/or obtain your username and/or password;
  • change your password immediately if PayPoint requests that you do so; and
  • take all reasonable steps to ensure that the computer or any similar device that you are accessing MyPayPoint from is free from computer viruses. You also agree to take reasonable measures to ensure that the computer or other device you are using is itself adequately protected against the receipt of computer viruses.
